Wright Pylons 5094 metal print by Dan Beauvais. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A dawn study of some of the stainless steel pylons that make up the Monument to a Century of Flight in Kitty Hawk, NC, on the Outer Banks.
Its fourteen stainless steel, wing shaped pylons ascend in height from 10 to 20 feet and are organized in an orbit of 120 feet, symbolic of the length of the Wright Brothers' first historic flight. Black granite panels chronicle one hundred of the most significant events in aviation's first century.
