Harbor Seal 5576 metal print by Dan Beauvais. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
A young Harbor Seal (Phoca vitulina) rests mid-March on the beach of Cape Hatteras National Seashore, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. In the Atlantic, harbor seals move south from eastern Canadian waters to breed along the coast of Maine, Cape Cod, and the South Shore in Massachusetts in May and June, and return northward in fall. Others will head south as far at the barrier islands of North Carolina, particularly young seals unable to compete with adults for food and territory. They do not return north until spring.
