Artist's Description

In near zero visibility, a conductor guides a Mount Washington Cog Railway train to the platform atop Mount Washington. While a clear day at the base and over most of northern New England, New Hampshire's Mount Washington frequently has its own weather. Clouds engulfed the peak, and damp unrelenting wind drove sight-seers inside for hot coffee and cocoa while they awaited their return trip.
